Agility In Store Field Operations Manager – Vacancy x1 Ref nr.77699

Job Title: Field Operations Manager
Job Purpose:

To manage all operational activities for the specified area’s FM-CG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services, ensuring that sales and merchandising standards are consistently met to optimize client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets.

The role will focus on driving consistent operational excellence, improving efficiency, maintaining high standards across synergism service operations and supporting the company’s growth and profitability objectives.


Minimum Requirements:

  • National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 years of experience in operations within the retail and wholesale sector, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing large, distributed teams and working with retail and wholesale partners across large areas.

  • Operational Planning & Excellence: You will drive consistent efficiency and maintain high standards across all synergism service operations, ensuring operational excellence supports the company’s growth objectives.
  • Sales and Merchandising Leadership: You will lead the charge in optimizing product availability and representation, ensuring your team consistently meets merchandising standards across retail and wholesale outlets.
  • Strategic Stakeholder & Team Management: You will act as a master communicator and trusted partner, building strong relationships with retail partners while leading the development and management of large, high-performing teams.
  • Team Management: Ability to build and develop functional teams, plan, organize and control work outputs through others effectively, whilst ensuring functional team dynamics and organization policy and legal compliance in all team management practices.
  • Planning and Organizing: Ability to establish a course of action for self or others to accomplish a specific goal through effective planning, appropriate assignment of personnel and appropriate allocation of other resources.
  • Operational Excellence: In-depth understanding of operational processes and best practices in the FM-CG sector and wholesale and retail environment.
  • Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data and making data-driven decisions. Communication: Ability to communicate in both verbal and written formats.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address operational challenges and effective implement solutions.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to manage changing market conditions and operational demands.
  • Customer Orientation: Commitment to meeting and exceeding client and customer expectations.
